REDBOY NEWS — CLOSING BELL

Wednesday, September 30, 2026

Daily market research tracking stocks, precious metals and crypto so you don’t have to.

📈 S&P 500 — TOP FIVE

Wall Street ended September with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq higher as softer-than-expected inflation data reduced expectations for an October Federal Reserve rate increase. August PCE inflation rose 3.4% year over year, below the 3.7% forecast, while the final estimate of second-quarter GDP was revised to 2.2% annualized growth. Long-term Treasury yields remained elevated.

META — WATCH / HOLD
Meta remains a major AI platform holding, but elevated long-term rates continue to put valuation pressure on growth stocks.

GOOGL — WATCH / HOLD
Alphabet participated in today’s mega-cap strength. The softer inflation reading helped rate-sensitive technology shares, though bond yields remain an important risk.

AVGO — HOLD / BUY ON WEAKNESS
Broadcom remains one of the core AI-infrastructure names we are following. ARK Invest also reported a sizable new Broadcom purchase in its latest trading activity.

QCOM — HOLD
Qualcomm remains our diversified mobile, automotive and edge-AI exposure. We continue to favor patience rather than chasing short-term rallies.

MSFT — BUY ON WEAKNESS
Microsoft remains one of our preferred long-term cloud and AI names. We favor gradual accumulation during meaningful pullbacks.

🥇 GOLD & SILVER — TOP FIVE

Precious metals remained under pressure despite the cooler inflation report. Spot gold was down about 0.7% near $4,153 an ounce late Wednesday and was headed for a roughly 6.6% September decline. Silver fell about 2.1% to roughly $60.18 an ounce. High bond yields and firm energy prices continued to weigh on metals.

WPM — WATCH / HOLD
Wheaton Precious Metals remains our preferred streaming exposure, but the underlying metals market has not yet produced a convincing stabilization signal.

AEM — HOLD
Agnico Eagle remains a high-quality producer. Short-term performance will remain sensitive to gold, rates and the dollar.

FNV — HOLD
Franco-Nevada’s royalty model continues to provide precious-metals exposure with less direct operating risk than a traditional miner.

NEM — WATCH
Newmont remains highly sensitive to gold prices. We would look for stabilization in bullion before becoming more aggressive.

KGC — WATCH
Kinross remains the higher-risk name in the group. Patience remains appropriate while gold and silver are volatile.

₿ CRYPTO — TOP FIVE

Crypto was mixed late Wednesday. Bitcoin was around $85,500, up roughly 1.3% over 24 hours, while Ethereum was near $2,734. XRP was near $1.54, Solana near $122.50, and Chainlink near $14.75.

BTC — ACCUMULATE ON WEAKNESS
Bitcoin remains our primary crypto holding. Softer inflation helped risk sentiment, but high long-term yields remain a headwind.

ETH — HOLD / ACCUMULATE
Ethereum remains our second core crypto position. We continue to favor staged buying over chasing short-term strength.

XRP — SPECULATIVE BUY
XRP remains our higher-risk payments and digital-asset infrastructure position. Position sizing should reflect its volatility.

SOL — HOLD / ACCUMULATE
Solana was modestly higher over 24 hours late Wednesday. We continue to favor gradual accumulation on weakness.

LINK — WATCH / ACCUMULATE
Chainlink was one of the weaker large-cap names today, down roughly 3.5% over 24 hours. Its cross-chain infrastructure remains the key long-term thesis.

📊 CATHIE WOOD / ARK INVEST — WHAT THEY’RE BUYING & SELLING

ARK Invest made a significant AI-chip portfolio shift in trades reported from Tuesday, September 29.

AMD — SELL
ARK sold 181,767 AMD shares, reported at roughly $110.5 million.

NVDA — BUY
ARK bought approximately 356,681 Nvidia shares, worth roughly $81 million.

AVGO — BUY
ARK bought approximately 76,263 Broadcom shares, worth roughly $25.6 million.

The move represents a substantial rotation within AI semiconductors: trimming a major AMD winner while adding exposure to Nvidia and Broadcom. These are ARK’s reported portfolio trades, not Redboy News recommendations.

🏛️ CONGRESSIONAL TRADING — NEW DISCLOSURES

No significant new member-of-Congress securities disclosure was verified in our source check for September 30.

The latest public-disclosure trackers available in today’s review showed filings through September 28–29, but did not identify a newly filed transaction today that met our significance threshold for this section.

Nancy Pelosi-related disclosures: No new Pelosi household securities transaction was verified today. The most recent widely reported Pelosi household activity remains the previously disclosed July purchases by Paul Pelosi involving Bloom Energy and Intel; those transactions were disclosed in August and are not new today.

Redboy News distinguishes the transaction date from the later filing/disclosure date. Congressional STOCK Act reports can arrive weeks after the underlying transaction, so a newly published filing does not necessarily represent a trade made today.

🔔 WHAT CHANGED TODAY?

The biggest market development was a cooler-than-expected U.S. inflation reading. August PCE inflation came in below forecasts, reducing market expectations for another Federal Reserve rate increase in October.

The S&P 500 and Nasdaq moved higher, while the Dow lagged. At the same time, long-term Treasury yields remained high and oil stayed above $100 a barrel, leaving inflation concerns unresolved.

Gold and silver remained weak despite the softer inflation data, while Bitcoin recovered into the mid-$85,000 area.

September ends with a split message: softer inflation supports risk assets, but high energy prices and long-term yields continue to argue for caution.

🐾 REDBOY NEWS TAKE

Today’s data improved the short-term interest-rate picture, but it did not remove the major risks facing markets.

We continue to favor selective buying, gradual accumulation and patience rather than chasing fast moves.

Stocks: Selective, with AI leaders still favored on weakness
Gold & Silver: Wait for clearer stabilization
Crypto: Accumulate established assets gradually on meaningful weakness
ARK Watch: Major rotation from AMD into Nvidia and Broadcom
Congress Watch: No significant new disclosure verified today
Overall: Cautious, selective and looking for opportunity
